The ROS Clinical and Research Committee (CRC) is the first touchpoint for clinical and academic expertise for the ROS Clinical Directorate, Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees – supporting delivery of the ROS Breaking the Silence strategy, which focuses on activity to help close the osteoporosis care gap. We are currently looking to recruit up to four new CRC members to complement the current committee’s expertise and national representation. On this occasion we are particularly seeking interest from those:

  • In nursing roles.
  • Practicing in Wales or Scotland.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend a total of 4 meetings per year. All meetings will have virtual accessibility and up to two meetings will be face-to-face. 

The position of CRC member is offered on a voluntary and unpaid basis, but any travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed in line with ROS policy.

The application deadline is 12 March 2024, with online interviews planned to take place 26 March 2024. If successful, new members will be invited to join the next CRC meeting in Bath on 13 May 2024.
