The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) would like to publicly recognise the contribution of the late Professor John Studd to supporting people living with osteoporosis.

Chief Executive, Craig Jones said:

“The team at ROS is saddened to learn of the passing of Professor John Studd, who was one of the original founding Trustees of the charity in the 1980s. It was John and a small group of other eminent clinicians who decided that people living with osteoporosis deserved a national voice. It was on account of their initiative that the ROS was launched to support, bring together and advocate for people living with the condition. We owe that small group of clinicians a great deal and we’ll continue to work to realise their vision.

"Our thoughts at this time are with John’s friends and family”.
