Stockport Support Group

The Stockport support group is a group of volunteers who offer people affected with osteoporosis the chance to meet other people in the area similarly affected, get information, support and ask questions about osteoporosis treatment and care.

This support group regularly holds meetings in Stockport. Attendees are welcome from anywhere in UK, there is no requirement to live within the city/region to attend these meetings.

Programme 2025

Monday 24 February, 10am - 12pm (at Hazel Grove Bowling and Tennis Club, Douglas Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK7 4JG)

Talk about yoga and osteoporosis with a short demonstration

Tuesday 29 April, 1 - 4 pm (at Hazel Grove Club)

Patient Education Session with speakers from: Stockport NHS Foundation Trust (including Dr Ismail, Consultant Rheumatologist); a pharmacist; a DEXA radiologist; a dietician; a physio; Life Leisure; and Age UK Stockport.

This is a free event, but please book in advance so we can track numbers
