Kilmarnock Support Group

The Kilmarnock Support Group is a group of volunteers who offer people affected with osteoporosis the chance to meet other people in the area similarly affected, get information, support and ask questions about osteoporosis treatment.

This support group regularly holds meetings in Kilmarnock. Attendees are welcome from anywhere in UK, there is no requirement to live within the city/region to attend these meetings.

Robert Watt – Antique Specialist.

Please bring something old and interesting which Robert can talk about and perhaps give you a value. 

The DXA scan girls will also be in attendance for another informal chat to answer some of the questions which arose from their previous visit.

Tuesday 28 October

Laura Crerar, Senior Clinical Pharmacist, Crosshouse Hospital talks about Bone Metabolism.

Tuesday 25 November

Jack Sinclair, SP Energy will give information on what to do in a power cut, keep warm during winter and getting on the register for extra help in an emergency.

PLUS: Bring and Buy sale for group funds. There will also be a ‘guess the weight of the Christmas cake’ and the cake will be the prize.

Clark Wallace from Paisley Thread Museum will talk about the fascinating history of thread and weaving.

The Messengers Puppets join us for an Easter show. Tea afterwards will include a simnel cake
