Volunteer with support groups
You can help people in your own community to live well with osteoporosis by helping to run one of our support groups across the UK.
- Do you have a bit of time to spare to help organise events locally?
- This could be welcoming people to meetings, admin support or helping plan events programmes
- You can help an existing support group, or set up a new group in your area with our support
It feels so rewarding to help other people and I get a huge amount of satisfaction from volunteering with the ROS. I've also learned a lot more about osteoporosis, which has boosted my confidence and helped me to better manage my own bone health. (Gill, support group volunteer)
