Network for DXA radiographer working in Northern Ireland

NIDON currently has 20 radiographers who carry out DXA scanning.

The network is free to join and new members are welcome

NIDON was established with the aim of:

• Facilitating the opportunity for DXA radiographers & technicians in Scotland to meet and discuss issues and share best practice relating to DXA & osteoporosis services in Northern Ireland.

• Providing a forum for networking and discussion of Northern Ireland specific issues. The group will also be offered education by external speakers.

• Providing a forum for supporting services and quality improvement.
