The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) has today announced its Objectives and Targets for 2023, the second year of its Breaking the Silence strategy.
To show members, supporters and donors the value of the initiatives, the charity has put clear targets against each of the workstreams. The team will then report publicly on its performance at the beginning of 2024.
Chief Executive Craig Jones said:
“This programme builds on our successful year in 2022 and continues to gather momentum for bone health in public policy, media, health services and other circles. Every £1 we invest in our services is fundraised from our supporters, so we’ll be crystal clear about the impact we want to achieve and how we perform against our goals.
"We’ll only be successful in beating osteoporosis if we create new partnerships and alliances, with funders, businesses, clinicians, academics and public policy leaders. That’s why we’ll continue to look up and out to encourage people to join this important cause as it gathers momentum."
ROS’s report on its 2022 performance will be published in early Spring.
