Improving osteoporosis care with our new digital event for clinicians

Impact

22 Sep 2020

We’re excited to be holding an innovative new digital learning event for healthcare professionals this winter, so we can continue to promote the best care for people with osteoporosis – even while we can’t meet in person.

The pandemic has put many face-to-face learning events for healthcare professionals on hold, including our biennial conference. And as the UK’s leading event for people working in the field of osteoporosis and bone health, we know this can’t be easily replaced. But we’re committed to improving care for people living with osteoporosis, and we still have many important updates and research findings to share with healthcare professionals. So, we’re holding a digital event to bring these together, called Osteoporosis Online.

Healthcare professionals from across all areas of osteoporosis care – including rheumatologists, radiologists, physiotherapists and fracture liaison nurses – will join us at Osteoporosis Online to learn the latest developments and best practice in osteoporosis management, and how to safely deliver services during the pandemic and beyond. We’ll also be setting out our research priorities to find a cure for osteoporosis.

The event is being held on Tuesday 1 December – but all sessions will be available for healthcare professionals to watch on-demand after the event, too.

So, spread the word and tell your local osteoporosis healthcare professionals to save the date.
