A NEW HOME FOR OUR ONLINE COMMUNITY
We're moving the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) Online Community to a new home - and we can't wait for you to experience the improvements.
Why are we moving our Online Community?
You asked, and we listened. Over the past year, we've been working with people with osteoporosis like you to create a new online community that gives you what you need.
The new community offers:
- easy navigation - find topics and posts that interest you more quickly with our new discussion categories
- a safe space - improved moderation by the Royal Osteoporosis Society support team, including our specialist nurses
- new features - more tools to help you connect and share with others, including dedicated spaces for men and younger people to connect
We know change can feel unsettling, especially if you've been part of our community for a while. But we're here to support you every step of the way, and we think you'll love the improvements once you've had a chance to explore.

What you will like about our new Online Community
Easy to use
The new Online Community’s homepage is organised into clear categories, making it much easier to find the conversations that matter to you. When you share something yourself, people with similar interests and experiences will be able to find it and join in.

A safe place to connect
Your new community home will be fully moderated by our support team, including our specialist nurses. This is the only place where you can access this level of support and safety from the Royal Osteoporosis Society going forward.
After 27th March 2026, the Royal Osteoporosis Society will no longer be moderating the current community on Health Unlocked, so joining our new community will ensure you stay connected on our trusted, safe space.
