Raising Awareness of Osteoporosis in the Workplace Digital Sessions

About the new awareness raising session:

  • Delivered online - can be delivered via MS Teams or Zoom.
  • Delivered in under 45 minutes.
  • Suitable for “lunch & learn” sessions, staff days and employee well-being events.
  • Session group size: Flexible
  • The session is delivered “live” by a presenter who has real life experience of the condition.
  • Supporting Materials available: A supporting PDF resource pack of the session provided for all attendees.

NO CHARGE: There is no charge for the session, but donations to the ROS are always welcomed.

The new digital awareness session is suitable for:

  • All ages of staff, although this is particularly relevant to staff over 40 years old.

Please note: Osteoporosis is often seen as a women’s disease, but the condition affects 1 in 5 men over 50 years old. As an employer - you can help us spread awareness in your workplace!

By arranging a session for your staff/teams you will be…

  • Helping to spread awareness to your employees about looking after their bones and helping them to better understand their bone health, as part of their wellbeing considerations.
  • Supporting your employees to check their own risk of the condition and links them to access a supporter journey with ROS if they are identified as at higher risk.
  • Linking to your employees with further information, support & resources available through the charity.
