Our Stop at One campaign comes to an end

Our Stop at One campaign, designed to encourage people over the age of 50 with a broken bone to learn more about their risk of osteoporosis through a short quiz, has now drawn to a close.

The successful campaign began in 2017 and saw materials – including posters, banners, leaflets and scratch cards – featured in 34 fracture clinics across the UK.

Thanks to the campaign, more than 9,000 individuals have taken the quiz over the last three years to find out whether they may be at risk of osteoporosis.

And of those who have taken a follow-up survey, 80% reported that they took at least one positive action for their bone health as a result – including changes to their diet and exercise, or speaking to family, friends or their GP.

Thank you to all those who helped us to promote the campaign and for making it such a success. As we will not be distributing further Stop at One resources, please remove any posters promoting the campaign once all your leaflets and scratch cards have been used up.

Help our specialist nurses continue to support those in need
