Celebrate 40 years. Take on a 40 Challenge. Change lives.

To mark 40 years of the Royal Osteoporosis Society, we’re inviting you to take on a personal challenge inspired by the number 40.

From walking 40 miles to baking 40 cakes, your challenge can be anything you like—big or small, active or creative. However you choose to take part, you’ll be helping to support people living with osteoporosis and funding vital research, information, and support services.

Your 40 can really make a difference.

What is 40 for 40?

“40 for 40” is a fun, flexible fundraising challenge running from June to December 2026.

You choose your own “40-themed” challenge and get sponsored to complete it. It’s simple, inclusive, and open to everyone—whether you’re fundraising on your own, with friends, or as part of a team.
