BoneMed Online is for people who live in the UK. This is because our information is based on UK health care guidelines. If you live outside the UK, visit the International Osteoporosis Foundation for information about overseas organisations who may be able to help you.

You will instantly get clear information and videos about your specific medicine. We’ll also email it to you so you can read it any time.

Over 12 months, we’ll send you six emails with practical tips and guidance on your medicine and how to look after your bones.

You will get information about the specific medicine your doctor has prescribed you. We have created information in different formats. This includes short films, animations as well as text to read. We will also email you the information so you can go back to it whenever you need it.
No. BoneMed Online does not recommend or prescribe osteoporosis medicines. It gives you information and support for the medicine your doctor has already prescribed you.
BoneMed Online gives you information and support for the medicine your doctor has prescribed you. However, it does not replace advice from your medical professional and the instructions included in the medicine box. If you have concerns, speak to your GP, pharmacist, or healthcare professional.
Yes. BoneMed Online provides information and support about some of the possible side effects of osteoporosis medicines and how common they are.
