Oxford & District
Oxford and District Support Group
The Oxford and District Support Group is a team of volunteers who offer people affected with osteoporosis the chance to meet other people in the area similarly affected, get information, get support and ask questions about osteoporosis treatment and care.
We organise a programme of events listed below, including an annual Medical Update where we invite local health professionals to speak. Our main Medical Advisor is Dr Kassim Javaid, Consultant Rheumatologist at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
We set up NOS charity stands in and around Oxford in places such as Supermarkets, Companies, Leisure Centres, Festivals etc in order to reach out to local people and offer our leaflets and information.
If you wish to volunteer to help us, please contact:
Diane Ferraby on 01761 473269
Or write to us at email@example.com
You can assist by helping us to serve refreshments or by becoming a Committee member.
