Morecambe Bay

Morecambe Bay Support Group

Patron: Professor Gill Baynes

We meet at:

The Church of Ascension
Lancaster Road

(Unless otherwise stated)

The Morecambe Bay Support group was re-established in 2007 to support people with osteoporosis. We hold six meetings a year on the third Tuesday of every other month (commencing February each year): five evening meetings and one during the afternoon.

There is a small car park (no charge) to the rear of the building, and adjacent street parking. All facilities at the Church Hall and Vestry are on the ground floor with ramped access for wheelchair users and those with impaired mobility.

Our meetings start at 19.00 and usually finish by 21.00 (unless otherwise stated).

We do not charge a group membership fee but ask for £2.00 to attend each meeting. This helps to cover essential expenses (hire of the hall, speaker gift) and also includes refreshments.

We are a warm and friendly group providing an opportunity for members to meet, gain information and share experiences with others who have osteoporosis.

2019 Programme

Please note: Topics and speakers may change due to circumstances beyond our control.

In times of adverse weather conditions please contact us to check that the meeting is going ahead.
