Updating our suite of information resources

28 Oct 2020
We're currently updating our suite of information, which can be used and distributed in hospitals and other healthcare settings.
The four new information booklets contain up-to-date content, and will be available to download in a format that's easy to print in the quantities you need.
The booklets have been developed to meet the needs of your patients at different stages of their bone health journey. They also signpost to our other information resources.
- Booklet 1: This is useful for all patients, as it's aimed at anyone seeking information about positive lifestyle changes to improve bone health. It replaces our current Healthy living for strong bones leaflet.
- Booklet 2: This is for patients who are at risk of osteoporosis, and need information about bone health assessment and osteoporosis. It replaces our current Scans and tests, Am I at Risk?, and Have you broken a bone? leaflets. This booklet is useful to send out with a invitations to osteoporosis clinic and bone density scan appointments, or for patients with risk factors for osteoporosis.
- Booklet 3: This is for patients who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis or a high risk of fracture. It replaces our current An introduction to osteoporosis and Drug treatments for osteoporosis leaflets.
- Booklet 4: This is aimed at patients who are struggling with pain and symptoms because of spinal fractures due to osteoporosis. It replaces our current Living with osteoporosis leaflet.
You will still be able to order quantities of the Helpline Card and our leaflet, We're here to help. This leaflet is useful if you can't print off or email the booklets, or would prefer to give your patients a simple sheet. By completing the form on the We're here to help leaflet and returning it to us, your patients can obtain a pack containing bone health information tailored to their situation. They will also find out what else we can offer, including membership, the Helpline, and other information resources.
The new suite of information will be available soon - so watch this space and subscribe to our e-newsletter for updates.
Please also circulate this information to your team members.
